Landscape architects must act globally to fight climate change, help communities adapt to a changing world, bring artful and sustainable parks and open spaces to every community rich or poor, preserve cultural landscape heritage, and sustain all forms of life on Earth.

Biography

Thanida Green Rakvongthai is a Director with 17 years of experience in the practice of landscape design. She has extensive experiences in various scales of project range from mixed-use, corporate campuses, public realm, lifestyle office, and waterfront design in Hong Kong, China and South East Asia. 
Her approach to design begins at developing a site strategy and landscape framework that engages contemporary urban issues as well as site-specific challenge, and natural processes to inspire the landscape design works.
Her knowledge and experience working on multi-disciplinary fusion projects has given her the opportunity to take a broader perspective on landscape architecture while focusing her practice on design driven site-specific processes and key project drivers integrating culture, history, ecological processes and economics within a project context. 
She is also currently responsible for Hong Kong Landscape Studio as a Studio Leader, she is leading a team of 
50 people.
