The site is located in Xi’an High-Tech Industries Development Zone. Xi’an High-Tech Industries Development Zone is the area that represents and demonstrates Xi’an & the high tech industry. It is the strongest economical growth area in Shan Xi & Xi’an; it also becomes the opening window for outside of Shan Xi. Xi’an High-Tech Industries Development Zone is approved by state council in March 1991 to become one of the first batches of National High Tech Areas. Within 19 years, Xi’an High-Tech Industries Development Zone has grown tremendously in economic indicators; the composite indicator is among the top of the country’s 56 state-level high-tech zones.

The design team looks at the specific requirement for hotel and retails, programs of residential, to create a integrated design for the entire development. The large green area in the residential area will become an Urban Oasis. Through view corridors or gardens and plazas, the oasis will extend to the spaces of hotel and retail. The integrated landscape will not only increase the visual or spatial effect of different parcels, but also increase the value of real estate.  There will be viewing gardens, multi function areas in residential areas. The landscape will be intimate 
and private. The hotel landscape will be a discovery landscape. By walking through the hotel interior and exterior spaces, guests will explore and be surprised.  They will start to feel the connection to this city and the culture. The retail landscape is a landscape of showcase. Feature plaza and retail boulevard will create a city walk which can link to the adjacent parcel or neighborhood. The street front will attract people; become the face of the development.  It will become the landmark of Xi’an.
