The Wuhan MixC being developing as a new retail and entertainment hub located within the new developing commercial district. AECOM was commissioned to provide landscape de-sign services for this 7 hectare commercial and residential mixeduse development. The design integrates a series of programmatic ‘streams’, a Confluence of Lifesytles. These ‘streams’ de-fine the character and language for each of the landscape areas. The primary street frontage is designed to maximize the green space creat-ing refined fluid urban parkscape. The central stream creates an active urban landscape street for outdoor seating and dining. It also links to the sunken plaza and food &beverage on the lower level. The residential stream is lush and quite connecting the residence to the adjacent existing recreation park. This project will be a landmark development integrating a diverse range of architectures into a unified dynamic green landscape.
