This project is being developed within the Cultural Arts District of Taiyuan. The project site is 14.2 hectares divided into two parcels, the MixC (7.4 hectares) and an office complex called CRLand Center (6.8hectares). Building on our continuing relationship with China Resources, this project is designed to create distinct landscape approaches for each project while utilizing the overall landscape to unify the two sites. One of those key areas is the grand landscape park linking the two sites. The design for park is a device to cover an existing water channel. However, the landscape elements and spaces are designed to reflect the flow of the channel hidden beneath while creating a series of gardens and gathering space culminating at a large festival plaza for use for events for the MixC complex. The landscape is also integrated vertically within the building and on a series of sky terrace providing urban play and dining areas.

The Taiyuan MixC is one of our most ambitious projects. Creating a vibrant commercial, entertainment and  lifestyle landscape connecting  architecture , art and culture.
