Taikoo Hui, Shanghai is a high-profile mixed-use development project of Swire Group and HKRI in the center of Shanghai City, which is comprised of Grade A offices, high-end hotels and retails. 
 

The first step of Taikoo Hui project was to start the protection of buildings in Dazhongli, namely the displacement work of the former Minli Middle 
School. After the protection building is translated to Weihai Road, it will be given new vitality in cooperation with the entire project in the future, becoming a gateway for Dazhongli, and at the same time, a fashionable landmark inheriting the historical context of Shanghai.

AECOM provided comprehensive landscape design services for this 62,800 square meter project. The landscape design team designed a modern and classic design language to blend old classical colonial style buildings with contemporary architecture, to infuse vitality and sense of the times in the development area of Dazhongli.
